Founded in 2005 by Rabbi Sholom and Chaya Rivka Schmerling, Chabad of Venice has grown from a living-room minyan in North Port into a community serving thousands of families — from year-round residents to snowbirds, from fifth-generation Jews to those just beginning to explore.
